Alert Channels
Alert channels define how and where you receive notifications when monitors detect issues.
Channel Types
Default channel for all accounts. Alerts go to team members' email addresses.
Post alerts to Slack channels using incoming webhooks.
Send alert data to any URL. Ideal for custom integrations and automation.
Post to Teams channels using incoming webhooks.
Post to Google Chat spaces using incoming webhooks.
Post alerts to Discord channels using incoming webhooks.
Text message alerts. Uses credits. See SMS/Voice Credits.
Automated phone calls for critical alerts. Uses credits. Supports on-call schedules.
When Alerts Trigger
When a monitor fails from multiple regions, an incident is created and alerts are sent immediately.
When the service recovers and checks pass again, a resolution alert is sent.
Programmatic Access
Create and manage alert channels via the Alert Channels API.
